November 2016: Monthly Progress Report

November is over and we’re officially entering the final month of 2016!

I’ve spent the latter half of November in Chiang Mai, working like a madman on my Chiang Mai Challenge goals!

I’ve felt super productive and like I’ve got a lot done – but let’s see just what results I’ve managed to achieve…

Fitness Goals
• Squat 200kgs
• Deadlift 220kgs
• Bench Press 100kgs
• Dunk with 2 Hands

I’d been training 5-6 times per week consistently since returning home to Melbourne, but while I’ve been in Chiang Mai I haven’t got to the gym nearly as often.
The focus out here has been on work, and so the fitness goals have probably suffered a bit.

When I have trained, I’ve still felt quite strong and think I’ve probably dropped a little bit of fat while out here.

My body was starting to get injured a little bit (shoulders) so taking a little bit of time off has actually helped them recover which is good!

All in all, I have no clue how far off of the above lifting figures I am, but I don’t think I’m miles off!

Business/Financial Goals
Launch Freedom Self Publishing
• Reach 1000 YouTube Subscribers
• Reach 100+ YouTube Videos
• Reach 100+ Blog Posts
• Make $50,000 From My Kindle Books
• Run a Kindle Mastermind/Seminar
• Grow Income to $10,000 Per Month
• Publish 20 Books Under a New Account

Starting with my YouTube channel, I finished the month of November with 900 subscribers, and increase of 96 subscribers! Only 100 more to go to hit the years goal! It’s going to be close, but I think I can make it!

I also added 5 new YouTube videos, bringing the total to 91! Also getting close to hitting that goal.
If you haven’t subscribed yet, you can take a look at my YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-CsitUAKiJQkTHsqjeW8IA

I added 4 blog posts this month, brining the total up to 59! Not going to hit that goal this year, but I’m not too worried about that.

I also didn’t run a mastermind/seminar and that goal won’t be in the plans for this year. One day I would like to run one though!

Now, onto the financial side of things! I’ve been pumping out books like a madman, and not doing a whole lot else.

Due to no promotion at all, I only had 8 people sign up to Freedom Self Publishing during November, bringing in a total of $914
Not amazing compared to previous months, but this is totally passive. I literally did zero marketing this month so I can’t really complain too much about that.

Heading towards Christmas and having Black Friday this month meant that my book sales did well!

I haven’t actually checked my official numbers until now, but here we go!

My original account had a better month during November, making $2246!

My 2nd account had a great month also! It now is up to 14 books in total, though I only added 2 of them during the end of the month so they didn’t contribute to the total sales much at all. The total I made from this second account in November was $5393!

The majority of my book revenue comes from the paperbacks which of course sell in greater volumes during the Christmas period. In addition to that, new books typically have better sales than those that have been published for a while. While my sales are great now, it’s really tough to guess just how much they will make me consistently.

I also set up a 3rd account this month, just for a bit of diversification. I published 3 books to it during the last week of November, but due to the small amount of time, I won’t be adding in those sales figures.

So out of the 20 new books I wanted to publish this year, I’ve already published 17 of them in total!
My goal for these 2 new accounts is to have 40 books in total, so 23 more to go! I already have most of these books written, and are just waiting on a few more to come through. Soon enough I’ll have almost double the amount of books, and hopefully making even more on a consistent basis!

I was starting to think that my $10,000 goal was out of reach for this year, but I think I’ll actually come very close in December with the way things are going!

I also had some exciting news this month. I just recently spoke to my friend at Empire Flippers about possibly selling one of my new Kindle accounts next year. According to their evaluation, if I had an account making $4000 per month consistently, it could sell for up to $100,000!
While it’s really hard to estimate sales outside of the Christmas period, I do believe that my account could consistently hit those numbers, if not higher.

So, that’s a new focus! To build this account to an amazing level, and then flip it! I still want to keep a couple of accounts for their passive income, but selling one for a lump sum would be amazing and would allow me to explore a lot of opportunities.

So, all in all, this month I had my biggest month of the year – bringing in a total of $8553! That’s over $2500 more than last month!

I did have a lot of expenses this month, though they related mostly to getting future books created. Once everything is published and launched correctly, there is very little ongoing costs involved with this business!

It’s safe to say that I’m pretty excited about what the future holds for these Kindle accounts! If you’d like to learn how to get involved with making money selling kindle books, then take a look at: www.freedomselfpublishing.com

Now, for Lifestyle/Personal Goals:
Spend 5+ Months Overseas
Go to Bali
Go to Koh Phangan, Thailand
Go to Bangkok, Thailand
Go to Chiang Mai, Thailand
• Buy a Gold Watch
Become Conversational in Russian

So while I did hit my gold watch challenge figure of $8000, I haven’t yet purchased a gold watch. This is something I’ll definitely be doing soon though, most likely when I’m back in Australia.

As far as becoming conversational in Russian goes, it’s hard to define ‘conversational’. I did have a big achievement with Russian though this month as I finally finished my Russian course after 9 long months! The course is www.russianaccelerator.com and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I now know over 1000 words, hundreds of conversational structures, and can (slowly) read Russian! I’ll have a video out really soon where I’ll be speaking some Russian and giving a review of the course!

I’m pretty tough on myself with my goals, and hold myself to a high standard. It’s tough for me to say I’m conversational in Russian because there still feels like I have so much to learn.
But, the truth is that I can now hold a decent conversation with a native speaker, and I have in fact finished my Russian course.
I’m super proud of how much I’ve learned this year and for those reasons, I’m going to tick this goal off as COMPLETE!

I’ll be continuing to study Russian as there is so much I’ve learned that I really need to master – particularly the crazy grammar rules!

I’ll be heading to Russia in (most likely) May of 2017, where I’ll really get to test out my skills and progress a whole lot!

To Sum it All Up

What a month November has been. I’ve been working like a madman since arriving out in Chiang Mai. It really isn’t a sustainable way to live, but for short periods of time – I love it.
Especially when the results are so clearly obvious!

I’ve got a lot more work to do over the coming 1-3 months to get my business to where I want it. The future is looking pretty clear now though. Clarity makes everything a hell of a lot easier.

I’ve just got to keep putting in the daily grind, pushing out books and staying focused.

If I can do that for a couple more months, I’ll have a great stream of passive income, and potentially will be able to sell a portion of my business for 6-figures.

Finding a balance is always tough. I demand a lot of myself and always have a full plate of things to do.

Balancing focusing on my business, with tough physical goals, with educational goals like learning a new language, while taking time to enjoy the cool places I visit is quite a juggling act. I’ve definitely not done a perfect job of it, but I’m getting better with it.

Each day is a learning process, and I’m constantly refining what I do.

Stay tuned, big things are coming for December, and 2017 is looking to be absolutely huge!

Until next time,

Adrian Ingram
